Nina Nesbitt says stunt in 'Summer Fling' music video was inspired by Pink

Scots singer Nina Nesbitt released her new tune Summer Fling yesterday and the video to go alongside it is a work of art.

The 26-year-old had been dropping hints on her social media channels all week and when the video was finally released fans were super impressed.

In the video, Nina could be seen swinging from an aerial hoop and she revealed to her followers that she was actually inspired by US singer Pink during a concert at the Glasgow SECC when Nina was just 13-years-old.

She also said that she had to have special training for eight weeks, so that she could pull off the stunt on her own.

On her Instagram, she said: "making this video was an absolute joy. I trained in aerial hoop for 8 weeks prior to filming it. I remember being 13 and seeing P!nk at glasgow SECC, in utter awe of her aerial show and knowing I wanted to try it some day. I had swedish midsommar meets charlie & the chocolate factory in my head and I’m so grateful to everyone below for helping it come to life.

She added: "Thanks so much to my creative other half, @wolfjamescreative for putting absolutely everything she has into this with me and for bringing our vision to life once again. Also, a massive thank you to @abi.lines94 for training me in aerial hoop and putting up with my old man noises. Also a special shout-out to incredibly talented @dannywilliams for performing doubles with me…"

And fans were absolutely loving the video.

One said: "the video is absolutely beautiful."

Another added: "This music video is magical!"

While one wrote: "I already love the world you're creating. These visuals are everything."

And one penned: "training for 8 weeks in aerial hoop for this music video THIS IS THE ENERGY."

Recently, Nina has become quite the celebrity on TikTok with her hilarious videos. Last month her 'Scot Girl Summer - The Musical' tiktok had fans calling for it to be released as an official tune as it's so catchy.

Nina can be seen clutching a bottle of Irn Bru as she sings her newly penned lyrics.

In the video, she captioned: "One Friday afternoon, two Scottish girls took to the streets of London for Scot Girl Summer."

And as Nina and her pal Claire dance around a London park, the singer can be seen draped in mini Scotland flags and opening tins of Tennent's Super.

Nina's new tune dropped on Friday (Instagram)

Nina sings: "The rain is pouring, clouds are grey. Who needs Spain? Or LA!

"It's Scot girl summer!

"Taps are aff, tins are out, in the park just hanging about.

"It's Scot girl summer!

"Here we, here we, here we f*****g go! All dressed in our best, sunburnt, cheeks are red."
