Nile Rodgers and Chic will play a gig at Swansea's Singleton Park this summer

Nile Rodgers and Chic will be bringing their disco music to Swansea this summer - a year after taking Cardiff Castle by storm.

They will be playing their only Welsh show of 2020 at Singleton Park on Friday, July 31.

Since co-founding Chic in 1976, Rodgers has built an unrivalled catalogue of hit songs and collaborated with such iconic artists as David Bowie, Diana Ross and Madonna.

Among the hits performed by Rodgers and his renowned party band are Everybody Dance, Le Freak and Good Times.

Organised by Orchard under the Feels Like Summer banner, it is the second gig announced for Singleton Park for 2020 so far - Welsh band Catfish And The Bottlemen will play there on Saturday, May 23.
