In a remarkable display of skill and versatility, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets achieved a historic milestone by becoming only the fourth player in NBA history to record a triple-double against every opponent in the league. Jokic's stellar performance included 21 points, 19 rebounds, and 15 assists as the Nuggets secured a convincing 130-110 victory over the Washington Wizards on Thursday night.

Joining Jokic in the standout performances was Michael Porter, who contributed 22 points and 11 rebounds to help the defending champion Nuggets bounce back from a three-game losing streak following the All-Star break. Jokic's triple-double against the Wizards marked his 16th of the season, placing him second in the league behind Domantas Sabonis.

The Nuggets' dynamic duo nearly dominated the game from the start, with Jokic coming close to a triple-double in the first half alone. Jamal Murray, returning from injury, added 18 points, eight assists, and three steals to the team's winning effort.

On the opposing side, Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 31 points and 13 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to halt their losing streak, which extended to nine games. Washington struggled offensively, shooting just 38.8% from the field and falling to a dismal 1-34 record against teams with winning records.

Denver's defensive prowess was on full display as they consistently outmaneuvered the Wizards with precision cuts and high-percentage scoring opportunities. Despite a slow start from beyond the arc, the Nuggets capitalized on their inside game, finishing with a season-high 88 points in the paint.

Aaron Gordon chipped in with 17 points for Denver, while Christian Braun and Peyton Watson provided valuable contributions off the bench. Braun recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Watson showcased his defensive skills with 11 points and four blocks.

The Nuggets' dominant performance underscored their ability to bounce back from adversity, as they previously responded to a three-game losing streak by winning nine of their next 10 games.

Denver's victory over Washington not only highlighted Jokic's historic achievement but also showcased the team's depth and resilience as they continue their pursuit of success in the NBA.
