Nikki Grahame remembered by pal Imogen Thomas on first birthday since tragic death

Imogen Thomas shared a heart-wrenching tribute to her pal Nikki Grahame on what would have been her 39th birthday.

The Big Brother star died earlier this month aged 38 after a lengthy battle with anorexia.

Her best friend Imogen took to social media to share a picture collage of the two over the years and penned a heartfelt message.

She captioned the post: "Happy birthday my angel.

"I hope you're having a ball sipping espresso martinis singing and dancing to eastside. I feel blessed to have had you as a friend and I will cherish our memories.

"Thank you. May your spirit shine forever. Miss you and love u always Nik."

Her birthday tribute comes after she slammed Nikki's ex Pete Bennett following the reality star's death.

She got into a row with him after he shared the last text they sent each other before she died.

Imogen later took to Instagram to accuse Pete of "betraying" their late friend and accused him of "cashing in" by speaking about her final text.

She also hit out at Pete sharing a "haunting" picture of Nikki " against everyone's wishes".

Pete was bombarded with messages of support after he addressed the criticisms and denied being paid to share details of the text and insisted that his tribute to Nikki was "from the heart".

He wrote at the time: "Imogen’s efforts at trolling me has gone too far now whilst I'm trying to grieve for Nikki and this crazy ownership Imogen thinks she has over (who nikkis friends are) needs to be stopped.

"I never claimed to be nikkis 'best friend' , but actions speak louder than words.

"Get over it Imogen, I was nikkis friend and leave me the f*** alone to grieve. Maybe you could do a nice tribute for her instead of lying about me publicly for attention."
