The Phantom Thieves have found their way into another game. Goddess of Victory: NIKKE’s collaboration with the Persona series is now live, bringing characters and content from Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal to the shooter RPG as part of Persona’s 30th anniversary celebrations. The main collaboration runs for a month, until Sept. 10.
This update is a fully-fledged crossover, as alongside three playable Persona characters, NIKKE is getting a full story event with a minigame, costumes, co-op battles, the usual login rewards, and several additions to the regular campaign and progression systems.
NIKKE x Persona collab characters
Three characters represent the modern Persona trilogy in NIKKE: Makoto Niijima from Persona 5 Royal, Yukiko Amagi from Persona 4 Golden, and Aigis from Persona 3 Reload. Makoto and Yukiko are limited SSR recruits, while Aigis is an SR character available through the event itself.
New SSR character: Queen (Makoto Niijima)

Makoto Niijima appears under her Phantom Thief codename Queen and uses her Persona, Johanna, during combat. Her kit is focused on offense, with abilities that increase her attacking capability and a Burst Skill that further buffs her damage while hitting multiple enemies. Queen’s Limited Recruitment runs from the beginning to the end of the event.
New SSR character: Yukiko Amagi

Yukiko comes with her Konohana Sakuya Persona, and mixes damage with healing. Her abilities improve her offense while restoring allies, with her Burst Skill strengthening both sides of her kit and damaging multiple enemies. Unlike Makoto, Yukiko’s Limited Recruitment begins one week later on Aug. 20 before ending alongside the rest of the collab on Sept. 10.
New SR character: Aigis

Aigis is the collaboration’s free character. The anti-Shadow weapon uses Palladion with a support-focused kit that strengthens allies while allowing her Burst Skill to attack multiple targets. She can be obtained through Persona on Frontline, with another copy available among the rewards for the 14-day Phantom Thieves’ Calling Card login event.
Persona on Frontline story event
The main collaboration event begins after a series of unexplained cases involving people losing consciousness across the Ark alongside the appearance of mysterious D-WAVES. The investigation eventually brings NIKKE’s cast into contact with people capable of summoning Personas. Story I is available from Aug. 13, while Story II opens on Aug. 20.
The event also includes the Midnight Phantom Runner minigame, an endless running game inside the phantom-thief simulator created by NIKKE’s own Phantom. Players can also take on Gatekeeper through a special Coordinated Operation across three weekends beginning Aug. 14, Aug. 21, and Aug. 28.
New Persona collaboration costumes
Queen receives two additional outfits: Queen’s Pajamas through the THIEF QUEEN PASS and her Shujin Academy Student Council President uniform through Persona on Frontline Achievement Missions. Yukiko similarly gets Winter Lady Roomwear through the SNOW FLAKES PASS and an Amagi Inn Kimono from Achievement Missions.
Phantom is also getting the Saint Thief limited costume through Costume Gacha, fitting rather conveniently with a crossover involving the actual Phantom Thieves. Flora’s Fairy Rabbit costume will arrive separately through the September Mission Pass.
Outside the Persona content, the update adds Campaign Chapters 47 and 48, new Lost Sector stages, additional Tribe Tower floors, a new Harmony Cube, and increases the maximum Outpost Defense level to 800. Solo Raid Season 40 begins Aug. 20 as well, while FULL BURST DAY bonuses will run across three weekends during the collaboration.
