Nike discount codes for 20% off – June 2025

Shop the latest styles at Nike with our round-up of the best discount codes - (The Independent)

A brand that needs very little introduction, Nike is loved for its iconic trainer styles, high-tech performance gear and everyday sportswear. From the iconic air max and dri-fit clothing to performance running shoes, there is a style to suit everyone.

Find the best Nike promo codes available right now, plus tips on how to save even more – think free delivery offers, student discounts and when to time your shop with seasonal sales.

Looking for a Nike discount code?

Unlike a lot of online retailers, in recent years, Nike has been releasing coupon codes rather sparingly. Even though you will likely see them in November in the run up to Black Friday and December during the Christmas shopping period, there’s also a chance of flash codes popping up over the warmer months – specifically July.

But what can you expect to save with a Nike promo code? And should you wait to make your purchase? Savings range between 20 and 25 per cent on full-priced items with a minimum spend between £50 and £150. Keep scrolling to read our “how to save” section for tips that will help you year-round.

The Nike sale is packed with impressive discounts, offering you the chance to save up to 50 per cent on clothing, shoes and equipment. You can shop clearance, last-chance and sale items throughout the year, with new additions added regularly. There are plenty of discounts to be found of kids’ clothes too. The best way to keep on top of the sales and other promotions is by registering for the newsletter where you’ll be notified weekly of the latest reductions.

Get savings on popular Nike styles such as dunks (Nike)

It’s not just last season’s styles you’ll find in the sale. We’ve recently seen the popular Nike dunks reduced by a whopping £48 and the Nike sportswear club fleece reduced by 30 per cent. Just remember that sale products are often only available for a limited time and whilst stocks last. If you spot a style in the sale that you like, you’ll want to add it to the basket sooner rather than later to avoid missing out.

10 per cent off with the Nike student discount

Students looking to save can enjoy 10 per cent off at Nike all year round. All you need to do is register with Unidays to verify your student status, and then you'll be given a secure, single-use discount code to use on full-price items.

Get free delivery

Don’t forget to check for any added fees at checkout. Nike delivery is free on orders more than £99 for non-members, but if your basket is less than this, a £4.50 shipping fee applies. Alternatively, you can collect from your local store free of charge.

What’s trending at Nike?

Fashion favourites

Nike’s fresh take on the cortez style brings lots of new colourways (Nike)

Nike’s everyday athleisure styles are as popular as ever, and the cortez is one of our favourites. The style debuted in the Seventies and has remained a classic since, but this fresh take has a wider toe box and firmer side panels, which Nike says gives a more comfortable fit. “Giving a dopamine hit to any outfit, we’ll be styling with white poplin skirts as the weather warms up,” said our fashion writer, Daisy, in her round up of the best colourful trainers.

Other trending styles include the new air max DN8, featuring the same signature air cushioning as the much-loved air max but with a slimmed-down design. The retro-inspired LD-1000 is another popular style that gives a modern twist to a classic style.

Running gear

Zoom Flys are a must for training sessions (Nike)

We put the Nike air zoom pegasus to the test in our round-up of the best women’s running shoes. Our tester praised the comfortable fit and said, “It’s quite light, accommodates a wide foot and has a grippier outsole than most of the shoes we tested, so it can handle light trails.” You can shop the latest pegasus releases on the Nike website.

The vomero 18 is ideal for long-distance road running, while the zoom fly 6’s carbon-fibre plate should make tempo runs more dynamic and responsive. If you’re chasing a PB, the vaporfly 4 is built for race day with a lighter foam design and ZoomX midsole.

If you’re still not sure which of the range is best for your running style, Nike’s Running Shoe Finder can match you with your ideal pair in minutes. Simply pick your ideal surface, whether that’s road, track or trail, and it will recommend the best options. It will also tease any new releases, like the structure 26, which could work well for those taking to the pavements. Gym and training essentials

If you're serious about training, the Nike free metcon 6 trainers are a worthy investment (Nike)

If you’re after gym gear that looks good and helps you achieve that PB, the Nike free metcon 6 trainers are worth a look. You can use them for weight training, running and HIIT workouts thanks to their enhanced support, flexibility and breathability.

Our tester gave the trainers a five star review thanks to the slip-on style and cushioned soles, with them being one of their “favourite workout trainers of all time”. They also “liked how the mesh upper has a lot of stretch, so it moves with you as you work out and prevents blisters”.

For a workout wardrobe refresh, Nike’s gymwear range has everything you could need, including sweat-wicking leggings, lightweight vests and accessories like gloves and hairbands. We’d recommend the Nike zenvy leggings, which were named our best eco-friendly gym leggings thanks to their recycled nylon composition. Our reviewer found them “super soft” to wear and praised the “high, wide waistband, which didn’t slide down at all during a vigorous HIIT class”.
