Play Art House on Song Wat Road has been transformed into "Nike Goal-Dang", a hyper-local cultural retail pop-up, which is open daily from 11am to 7pm, until Sunday.
The pop-up is inspired by Nike Football's "Rip The Script" campaign launched in support of the 2026 Fifa World Cup and to celebrate a new generation rewriting the rules of football culture. In Bangkok, the movement takes on a distinct form shaped by local craft, street energy and the creative spirit of Song Wat.
At the pop-up, Thai artists and designers have reinterpreted football through their own lens. From IWANNABANGKOK to Smile Club Thailand, O Thongchai, Teerapon Sisung and Ladderice, each collaborator brings a distinct perspective, transforming the symbols of football into expressions of Thai identity and craftsmanship.
Among the highlights is a piece by IWANNABANGKOK, reimagining the Nike Mercurial Vapor into a custom dress worn by Thai-born global icon Lisa in Nike's Rip The Script film, bridging Bangkok's creative community with the global stage.
Besides offering football apparel and products, the space plays host to a series of creative workshops that invite visitors to explore football culture through the lens of Thai design, craft and self-expression and create their own unique pieces inspired by the game.
The workshops includes "Blueprint Cyanotype", showing how to use football-inspired graphics and objects to create blueprint-style photographic prints, conducted by Ladderice today and Friday, both from 7pm to 9pm; "Copper Weaving", introducing copper weaving techniques through the creation of football-inspired charms and handcrafted objects, conducted by Teerapon on Wednesday at 7pm and Saturday at 9.30am; as well as "Thaipography", exploring Thai typography and visual storytelling through football-inspired graphic design, resulting in custom typographic artworks, conducted by Jirawat Sriluansoi on Thursday at 7pm.
Registrations to the workshops can be made via the Nike App. Visit facebook.com/playarthouse.
