A 31-year-old man has been left with serious head and facial injuries following an attack in a West Lothian nightclub.
The man was on the dancefloor when he was struck in the face at Envi Nightclub in Hopetoun Street, Bathgate, at around 2:40 am on Sunday 21 April.
He was taken to St John's Hospital to be treated for his injures, where he remains.
Police in West Lothian are now appealing for witnesses to identify those responsible and anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Detective Constable Ross Collett from Livingston CID said: "Neither the victim, nor those he was with, saw who struck him and we are therefore keen to speak to any other patrons who were in the club and saw what happned.
"Likewise if you have any other information that can assist with our inquiry then please contact police immediately."
Those with information can contact Livingston CID via 101 and quote incident number 745 of the 21st April. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be made to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
