Nigella Lawson returns to our screens tonight (9 November) with her brand new cooking series.

Following on from the success of 2017’s Nigella: At My Table, the TV chef is back as the host of Nigella’s Cook, Eat, Repeat, a six-part series airing on BBC Two at 8pm every Monday.

Throughout the series, Lawson will introduce viewers to a range of exciting new recipes aiming to elevate some of the most commonly used ingredients in British cooking.

Among these are a crab mac’n’cheese, chocolate peanut butter cake and fish stew.

Lawson will also give viewers an insight into where she gets inspiration for recipes, from her impressive vintage cookbook collections to finding helpful tips and tricks on social media.

Lawson described the mantra of ‘Cook, Eat, Repeat’ as ‘the story of my life’ (BBC/Jay Brookes)

In addition to the six main episodes, the series will end with an hour-long Christmas special.

The chef described the title of Cook, Eat, Repeat as “the story of my life”, saying: “Food is more than just sustenance, it brings such joy and it has the power to make a real difference every single day.”

She also said that she hoped the show will act as a “balm in troubled times”.

“I believe that the kitchen can be both the sanctuary and a pleasure palace and that’s something I am more than happy to celebrate, repeatedly,” she said.
