Nigel Farage has taken aim at Nicola Sturgeon after she was caught on camera celebrating Jo Swinson losing her seat.
The First Minister was filmed jumping with joy on Sky News when results of the East Dunbartonshire constituency were announced.
The Brexit Party leader reacted to the celebration by calling Sturgeon "graceless and nasty" on Twitter.
Farage wasn't the only person to have a pop at the SNP leader, Lib Dem MP Layla Moran, who held on to Oxford West and Abingdon, said: “This is so unacceptably ungracious.”
Sturgeon's celebration did go down well with some as she became a meme online.
Swinson was defeated by Amy Callaghan who received 19,672 votes against the Lib Dems candidate who received 19,523 votes.
Sturgeon wasn't the only person celebrating Swinson's loss in Scotland.
The shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbot , who was pictured on Thursday with odd shoes on, was filmed mouthing "get in" on hearing the result from East Dunbartonshire.
