Nigel Farage has called Broxtowe MP Anna Soubry "rude and offensive" while leading a pro-Brexit march to her own political doorstep.
Walking 13 miles from Linby to Beeston as part of the March to Leave protest, the MEP and Brexit Party leader addressed Thursday's TV clash with Independent Group member Soubry on BBC's Politics Live show.
Speaking from the studio Soubry asked Farage in Brussels: "How's the march going Nigel? Have you got more than 150 people yet?"
Responding today (Saturday, March 23) during the Nottinghamshire-leg of the Brexit Betrayal campaign in which protesters are walking from Sunderland to London, Mr Farage said: "She’s just rude and offensive. I’m never rude or offensive. She is all the time.
"She thinks she has moral superiority over everybody else and puts it across in the most astonishing way.
"She’s also broken her promise, she told the constituents very clearly that although she didn’t vote to leave, she respected the result and that’s what we must do. Look at what she’s doing now."
