Niece of 'doomsday cult' mum 'knows where her two missing children are'

The cousin of two missing kids whose disappearance has been linked to their mum's "doomsday cult" knows where they are, but refuses to say, it is claimed.

Court documents allege that Melani Pawlowski knows more than she's letting on about missing JJ Vallow, seven, and Tylee Ryan, 17 - who have not been seen since September.

Pawlowski's former husband said his ex is "involved in a cult where numerous members, adults and children alike have been being killed off like flies".

JJ and Tylee's mum, Lori Vallow, has been arrested, but is refusing to talk as fears grow for her two children.

She is said to be a member of the same cult, and worried family members say her behaviour has changed in the past 18 months.

Her new husband Chad Daybell, 51, who writes books about the end of times, is also behind bars in connection with the disappearances.

Vallow, who has been held on a $5million (£3.86million) bail, was arrested for failing to comply with a court order to produce her two children.

Her former husband Charles was shot dead in October.

Now it has been alleged that Pawlowski, whose former husband Brandon Bordeaux claimed  she tried to kill him, knows where JJ and Tylee are.

A document seen by Fox10 states : "Melani's knowledge of the whereabouts of her aunt's two missing children and her unwillingness to cooperate with law enforcement is daunting and her current husband has told law enforcement that Melani says sometimes children are full of light and then just like that they go dark.

"Melani is involved in a cult where numerous members, adults and children alike have been killed off like flies."

Tylee has not been since September 8, when she was caight on CCTV at Yellowstone National Park in Idahoe.

Vallow's family say he behaviour changed when she became involved with a mysterious "cult".

Sister-in-law Kay Vallow Woodcock wrote on Facebook : "Lori was a wonderful, loving, attentive mother.

“Things started changing over the past 18+ months when Lori began spending all her time with a new religious group, that we refer to as a ‘cult.'”

The group was set up to prepare people for the second coming of Jesus Christ, according to reports in the US.

Vallow has also been charged with offences relating to the desertion and non support of her children, contempt of court and resisting or obstructing officers.

Both Vallow and her husband have lost a former partner.

The pair married just weeks after Chad's first wife died mysteriously in her sleep - with police now treating the death as potentially suspicious.
