Nicole Scherzinger wows fans as she sings heavy rock version of My Heart Will Go On

Nicole Scherzinger certainly didn't hold back as she belted out a powerful rock rendition of Celine Dion's classic song My Heart Will Go On.

The former Pussycat Dolls star was given the daunting task of performing the iconic hit in the style of rock legends Led Zeppelin and her performance has even attracted praise from Celine herself.

Nicole, 44, is set to feature on tonight's episode of That's My Jam, which sees celebrities compete in music-themed challenges.

A teaser clip for the upcoming episode was shared on YouTube and showed Nicole step up to the mic to take on the challenge.

The musician was accompanied by a full backing band for her performance and left host Jimmy Fallon speechless with her incredible performance.

After Nicole finished the song, the crowd erupted into applause and 48-year-old Jimmy bowed before her.

Fans were equally as impressed by Nicole, with one person commenting: "Nicole, you smashed it, girl! You are so talented."

Another said: "Powerful Voice," while a third person wrote: "Her voice is truly amazing. She's a powerhouse."

Nicole's fans weren't the only ones who were blown away by her performance, with Celine herself taking to Instagram to congratulate the singer.

Elsewhere in the premiere episode, Jason Derulo will be given the task of singing 90s classic The Thong Song in the style of opera.

Nicole is competing in the new season premiere of That's My Jam alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Julia Michaels, and Jason Derulo.

They'll be battling it out in the hopes of walking away with the golden boom box.

They're just the first four of 40 celebrity guests that will compete throughout season two, including Keke Palmer, Adam Lambert, JoJo Siwa, Quavo and will.i.am.

The upcoming season will once again see Jimmy Fallon return as host.

NBC is also set to air a one-hour special of the best moments from the popular show.
