Nicole Scherzinger washes her hands in PVC outfit amid coronavirus fears

Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger has joined the long list of celebs who have documented themselves washing their hands to music this week.

As concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic continue mounting over us each day, Nicole decided to use her platform to spread awareness (not germs!) as she filmed herself scrubbing her hands in the mirror.

But in true Pussycat Doll fashion, the 41-year-old donned a plunging latex bodysuit during her hand washing session.

And the Hawaii-born pop star played her band’s new hit React as she washed to the beat of the tune.

Nicole paired the PVC outfit with a classic red lip and choker necklace.

Mouthing the lyrics: “maybe I should count my blessings that you're just that type, so call me masochistic, but sometimes I want to fight,” Nicole was getting in the groove while promoting healthy habits.

And the singer shouted "Oh it's hot!” soon after the music stopped, but managed to play it cool nonetheless.

Sharing the clip on her Instagram Story with her 4.4 million followers, she wrote: "Wash those hands!!"

And just yesterday, Mariah Carey shared a similar clip with her followers that showed her and the twins wash hands to her hit song Fantasy.

The pop diva, 49, enlisted the help of her young twins Moroccan and Monroe, eight, to demonstrate the correct way to wash hands amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The trio were standing in front of the gold sink while washing their hands, and Mariah could be heard reminding her kids to wash them for 20 seconds.

Although their TikTok was filmed during the song’s famous rap part, originally performed by the late Ol' Dirty B***ard, Mariah’s kids seemed to know the whole tune off by heart.

Sharing the video on Twitter , the singer wrote: “Exercising this to 20 seconds of Ol' Dirty B***ard! Wash your hands! Stay safe!!!”

Many celebs have been using their platform to spread awareness about the virus, as in the UK alone there have been a total of 1,372 positive tests for coronavirus as of 9am on Sunday.

This staggering number is up from 1,140 at the same time on Saturday, the Department of Health said.

A further 14 patients who tested positive for the coronavirus have died, the Department of Health said, bringing the death toll in the UK to 35.
