Nicole Kidman says she's open to her children pursuing Hollywood careers: 'They have a great work ethic'

Nicole Kidman has said she is open to the idea of her two youngest children pursuing a career in Hollywood.

The Oscar-winning actor’s children Sunday, 11, and Faith, 9, live with her and husband Keith Urban in Nashville

Speaking to WSJ Magazine, Kidman explained that her children are “unusual” because they have a “great work ethic” when joining her on film sets.

Both children had small roles in The Angry Birds Movie 2 and were extras on hit HBO show Big Little Lies, in which Kidman stars.

Kidman, who also shares 25-year-old son Conner and 27-year-old daughter Isabella with ex-husband Tom Cruise, said it was crucial that she prioritise her family over her own career.

“We have a system worked out to keep the family together,” she said. “When Keith’s not touring, it’s much easier. He’ll be on tour next year, and then I just don’t work as much.

“Literally — it will become imbalanced, and we will change it. We don’t have the answers, but the one thing we do know is that we will not jeopardise us.”
