Behold, the newest star in the Madame Tussauds firmament, as the London museum gives us its Nicole Kidman.
At first glance it might appear that the latest waxwork breaks with long-established Tussauds tradition by looking vaguely like the celebrity upon which it was so pointfully modelled. However, closer inspection suggests there is significantly more movement in the dummy's forehead than Nicole's.
The waxwork thus has a far greater range of facial expressions at its disposal than the actress herself - and it is that crucial confusing detail which will allow museum visitors to continue their tour of the wickless candle factory uninterrupted by any sudden flash of recognition, before being belched back out onto Baker Street to text their friends pictures of themselves with Tony Blair accompanied by the words "Just met Jeremy Kyle!!!"
