Nicole Eggert claims Scott Baio has called her repeatedly since she accused him of abuse

Nicole Eggert, the "Charles in Charge" actress accusing Scott Baio of molesting her as a teen, now claims her former co-star has flooded her with phone calls since she came forward with allegations against him.

"I've been getting a lot of harassing phone calls from Mr. Scott Baio, who has been telling me to leave it in the hands of the police," Eggert, 46, told a TMZ cameraman Sunday in Los Angeles.

"He's been harassing me so much over the phone."

Eggert _ who came forward with her claims against Baio late last month on Twitter and "Megyn Kelly Today" _ says she's hired a security team as a precaution amid the alleged wave of phone calls.

A representative for Baio, meanwhile, vehemently denied that the actor has called Eggert even one time since she accused him of misconduct.

The rep told TMZ that Baio himself has received calls from what looked to be his own number recently.

"Immediately after, he was contacted by an individual who gave him 24 hours to accept an unspecified offer which was characterized as 'help,'" the rep told TMZ.

"We have significant evidence about the origin of these calls, and are bringing it to law enforcement Monday."

Baio, 57, has since gotten a new phone number, the rep said.

Eggert, who filed a police report against Baio last week, told a TMZ cameraman that they've had the number "cross-checked," and the results show its Baio's number. She adds that she's recorded his calls and supplied law enforcement with "all the records."

She said she wants Baio to "come clean."

"I'm not looking to put anybody in jail. I'm not looking to spend the rest of the next few years in court," Eggert said. "I want to get on with my life, so I think he should just come clean and get it over with."

During her interview with Megyn Kelly, Eggert claimed Baio _ who is 11 years older than her _ molested her repeatedly beginning when she was 14. She claims she had consensual sex with Baio when she was 17.

Eggert had previously said she and Baio had sex when she was 18, but she now says she only said that in the past because she wasn't ready to tell her story.

Baio strongly denies Eggert's allegations of abuse and asserts Eggert was 18 when they had intercourse.

"By the way, Nicole and I were friends after our only sexual encounter where she, she aggressively sought me out because she wanted me to be her 'first' so that she would be good for her boyfriend," Baio said on "Good Morning America." "Those are her words."
