Nicolas Pepe to make Liverpool and Arsenal decision as Lille force answers - latest rumours

Nicolas Pepe will be forced into making a decision on his future by Lille in the coming days.

The winger has offers from Arsenal, Inter Milan and Liverpool and Lille want to know if he is interested in those clubs.

And if he isn't, then Lille will open up negotiations with clubs such as Napoli and Atletico Madrid to discover if they want to match the €80million offers already on the table, report L'Equipe.

The Ivorian international is highly-rated in France and PSG are also reportedly interested.

Lille would rather sell to a team abroad instead of strengthening their Ligue 1 rivals.

But Pepe is understood to prefer a move to PSG if the French champions decide to make a late move for him.

Liverpool have previously denied making a move for the 24-year-old, who scored 23 goals in 41 games in all competitions last season.

The French-born winger started his career with Poitiers before moving to Angers and then Lille as well as having a short loan spell at Orleans.

Pepe joining Liverpool could also have a knock-on effect on Ryan Kent's future. The winger is currently in America with the Liverpool squad for pre-season but Steven Gerrard is desperate to take him back to Ibrox.

And Pepe signing would move him down the pecking order and could potentially allow a return to Glasgow.
