Pepe wants out of the Ligue 1 club but will delay his decision in a bid to get the best transfer possible.
L’Equipe report on Monday morning the Ivorian attacker is "convinced" Paris Saint-Germain will come in for him.
But it is not yet clear whether the French giants will make a move. They have watched Adrien Rabiot move closer to signing for Juventus while the futures of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe remain up in the air.
As for Pepe, Liverpool is said to be his preferred destination while Inter Milan is also a possibility.
Neymar, meanwhile, has been warned off a move to Barcelona – by La Liga president Javier Tebas.
Tebas made an astonishing comment that outlined by he does not want the Brazil superstar back in Spain.
He said: "I prefer that Neymar does not return to Barca.
"We always want to bring great players, but in the case of Neymar that behaviour is not good for the competition because in the end the news is if the player has done this or that."
