Nicolas Pepe's impact on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal as transfer decisions loom

Here is all the latest news from around the Emirates Stadium over the past 24 hours.

The transfer decisions to be made after final

It’s set to be a huge weekend for the Gunners – not only do they face Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley, but the showpiece occasion could have a huge impact on their summer transfer business.

The window is of course open following the conclusion of the Premier League season, and Mikel Arteta will have his eye on a few additions as he aims to strengthen his squad.

It’s not just incomings that Arsenal will need this summer though – the Gunners may need to part way with a few players as well.

Youngsters who could save Gunners millions

While it is set to be a big summer for Arteta and Arsenal in the transfer window, it mustn’t be forgotten what the Gunners already have in reserve.

Some new faces will be needed, but there are also some fresh faces already at the club who could make an impact, something which Arteta is fully aware of.

"We can produce at home and we know that with the facilities and structures that we have in place, we have players of that calibre and that level," Arteta said earlier this month.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a closer look at the three leading candidates to make their impact in the near future – Emile Smith Rowe, Matt Smith and Tyreece John-Jules.

Pepe unlocks new side to Aubameyang

Arsenal’s front three have shown signs that they’re really starting to click over the past couple of months.

There hasn’t been much doubt over Lacazette or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but Nicolas Pepe’s impact has now been brought to the fore.

The Ivorian’s troubles in England have been well documented following his £72million move from Lille last summer.

But Pepe is beginning to show the potential that fee demanded, and he’s bringing out the best in Aubameyang, which could be a huge factor in Saturday’s cup final.
