It's official, Arsenal have completed the signing of Nicolas Pepe.
The 24-year-old becomes the Gunners' fourth new addition of the summer following deals for Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan from Real Madrid.
Regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe following a stunning season in Ligue 1, the north London were able to beat Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Napoli and Liverpool to Pepe's signature.
His first words as an Arsenal player should excite supporters.
"Being here is very emotional because it has not been easy for me," he told Arsenal.com. "I have come a long way and struggled a lot and so signing for this great club is a big reward."
"It was my family and my agents," he added when asked why he chose the Gunners. "We talked and thought a lot about it.
"It was at the time of the CAN [Africa Cup of Nations] as well, we thought a lot during, before and after the CAN.
"It was important to make the right decision and I am convinced that Arsenal is the right choice.
Pepe also described his playing style.
"Fast. Quick to connect with the ball and a good finisher as well," he added.
"That is also an area where I have made progress. I would say that I am quick and a dribbler."
Pepe underwent a photoshoot in the new Arsenal adidas kits.
