Nicola Sturgeon wants to use kid's festive drawing for her 2020 Christmas card – here's how to enter

Nicola Sturgeon is calling on children to submit drawings for her official Christmas card this year.

Young Scots are being urged to get creative and submit their own festive pictures around the theme of 'kindness' for 2020.

One lucky kid will see their art splashed across the government's greetings cards this season.

The First Minister's office shared the appeal this afternoon: "Do you know a young person under the age of 16 who can present the perfect festive picture to wrap up 2020?"

Entries should be made before midnight on Monday November 30.

Pictures should be no larger than A3 and drawn in pen, pencil, crayon or paint only. No stickers or glued on pieces should be used.

Entries can be scanned and emailed to firstminister@gov.scot with the subject heading 'Christmas Card Competition'  or posted to St Andrew’s House, Regent Road, Edinburgh, EH1 3DG marked 'Christmas Card Competition'.
