Nicola Sturgeon is set to give a coronavirus briefing later today as cases rise in some parts of the country.
The First Minister will provide an update on the state of the pandemic in Scotland as the country slowly moves out of lockdown.
It's expected Sturgeon will address the situation in Glasgow, Clackmannanshire and East Renfrewshire where cases of the virus are particularly high.
Glasgow is the only council area in Scotland that remains in Level Three lockdown, while the rest of the mainland sits in Level Two.
Scotland's island communities are currently in Level One due to the low number of cases and hospital admissions.
Yesterday it was revealed that almost half of vaccine appointments were missed at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow over the weekend.
It’s understood there were many cancellations and non-attendances on Saturday and Sunday amid rising case numbers in the city.
The concert venue originally formed part of the NHS Louisa Jordan hospital, which closed at the end of March having opened in the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) last year, and has the capacity to administer up to 10,000 jabs per day.
Sturgeon is expected to address the missed appointments at the briefing later.
What time is the briefing?
The briefing will take place at 12.15pm today.
Nicola Sturgeon will be joined by Chief Medical Officer Dr Gregor Smith from St Andrew's House in Edinburgh.
Where can I follow?
The Daily Record will have the briefing covered in our live blog so you can follow the entire announcement there.
It will also be shown on the Scottish Government Twitter account.
