Nicola Sturgeon is set to give a covid update on whether the entire country can move out of the Levels System in a week time.
During the announcement the First Minister is expected to reveal the latest coronavirus figures from across the country.
She will likely tell MSPs about how many cases and deaths have been recorded in the last 24-hour period in Scotland.
Scotland is expected to move beyond the Levels System on August 9 which would see the majority of lockdown restrictions removed.
Rules are expected to remain in place for wearing face masks indoors and in some outdoor enclosed spaces.

What time is the announcement?
The First Minister is expected to get to her feet at around 2pm today, Tuesday August 3.
Sturgeon will give a update on the latest figures then reveal whether Scotland can safely move out of the Levels System in a week time on August 9.
Last week the SNP leader hinted that the majority of restrictions would be scrapped.
