Nicola Sturgeon will deliver a coronavirus briefing this afternoon where she is expected to address rising case numbers in certain pockets of Scotland.
The First Minister will give the update alongside Chief Medical Officer Dr Gregor Smith this afternoon.
Last Friday, Ms Sturgeon confirmed that Glasgow would remain in Level 3 lockdown for at least another week due to the high case rate in the city. The rest of Scotland has moved to either Level 2 or Level 1 measures.
The decision to keep Glasgow in Level 3 is due to be assessed this coming Friday (May 28).
However, other areas of Scotland have begun to see rising case numbers including East Renfrewshire and, in recent day, Clackmannanshire.

What is she expected to say?
The First Minister is expected to address the rising case numbers in some council areas. The high rate of infection in Glasgow has been a cause of concern for some weeks with the current seven-day positive rate per 100,000 at 136.8.
However, East Renfrewshire's rate also remains high, with the area avoiding a move back to Level 3 measures.
Meanwhile, Ms Sturgeon is also expected to address the rapidly rising figures in Clackmannanshire in recent days.
There has also been a recent increase in the number of people missing their vaccination appointments, which the First Minister is expected to discuss.
