Nicola Sturgeon is set to give a coronavirus update to the country later today.
The First Minister has stepped back from providing daily briefings during the run up to the Scottish Parliament election in May. During this time, politicians are banned from using government resources in a way that could be seen to influence the election.
However, she has said she will continue to provide information on major changes to the public as needed.
Ms Sturgeon confirmed at her last briefing on Tuesday, March 30 that she would next appear today (Tuesday, April 6) with another following on April 20.

The update will take place at noon and be shown on BBC One Scotland and will also be available to watch live from the Scottish Government Twitter page.
It comes after yesterday saw lockdown restrictions continue to ease, with hairdressers reopening as well as garden centres, and non-essential retail for click and collect services.
Meanwhile, outdoor contact sport for those aged 12 to 17 years old also resumed yesterday.
The next easing of restrictions are expected to come into effect from April 26, when hospitality will begin to reopen, with outdoor service resuming including the sale of alcohol. Travel restrictions in mainland Scotland will also end on this date if the Scottish Government's route map out of lockdown remains unchanged.
