Nicola Sturgeon to announce SNP manifesto today - what time is it and how to watch it

Nicola Sturgeon will outline the SNP's manifesto later today as she looks to secure another five years as First Minister.

The leader of Scotland's biggest political party is expected to announce a range of new measures she will look to implement if she is elected next month.

Voters across the country will go to the polls on May 6 in what is being described as one of the most important elections since devolution in 1999.

Throughout the course of the election campaign so far the SNP has released a number of policies from free music tuition for school kids to increasing NHS spending.

A second independence referendum pledge is expected to feature in the manifesto launch.

Nicola Sturgeon's manifesto announcement will be live on the the Scottish National Party social media channels, Twitter and Facebook later today.

The SNP leader will launch her party's manifesto at 11am today.

Following the launch Nicola Sturgeon will take questions from journalists from across the United Kingdom at 11.30am.
