What could the First Minister announce?
We could see a confirmation of the date when restrictions such as social distancing, working from home and venue capacity are lifted.
This could mean a return to night clubs, and events in larger stadiums, and no limit to social gatherings indoors, outdoors or in public settings.
The legal requirement to wear face masks in some settings, however, is likely to remain for slightly longer.
What time will the briefing be at?
Nicola Sturgeon is set to host the briefing live from the Scottish Parliament from 2pm today.
Where can I watch it?
The briefing will be broadcast live on the Scottish Government Twitter page and you can watch it on BBC Scotland here.
We'll also be covering the briefing as part of our live blog updates.
