Nicola Sturgeon is making a COP26 statement in Glasgow this afternoon - here's how to watch

Nicola Sturgeon is to host a media briefing on COP26 later today alongside National Clinical Director Professor Jason Leitch and Police Scotland Chief Constable Iain Livingstone.

The meeting comes after the First Minister expressed her 'confidence' that police can deal with expected protests in Glasgow during the summit "sensitively", while asking those taking to the streets to cause as little disruption as possible.

Thousands of protesters are expected to descend on Scotland's biggest city over the next two weeks as world leaders meet for key climate talks, with high profile protest group Extinction Rebellion saying they are planning "deliberate disruption".
