Nicola Sturgeon impressed after 'wee star' dresses up as her for Halloween in hilarious video

Nicola Sturgeon called a young boy who impersonated her in a hilarious video, "a wee star."

Scottish mum Alyson Welsh uploaded a video of her seven year old son dressed as the First Minister, saying that he had told her he wanted to be 'Nicola for halloween.'

In the hilarious video the young man can be heard saying, "You were telt! Stay in the hoose, nae parties, save lives."

He then paid homage to Janey Godley's comedy voice overs of Nicola Sturgeon, adding:"My feet are killing me.

"Where's my clicky pen? Frank get the door, I want a haggis supper and make sure it's deep fried."

The First Minister was wowed by the video and shared it to her own Twitter page, penning: "Thank you @welsh_alyson - this has made me smile and given me a much needed laugh this morning.

"What a wee star - I think we might draft him in for the daily briefings!"

The proud mum had shared the video on Twitter, writing: "Our seven year old son asked to be Nicola for halloween.
