Nicola Sturgeon five-tier lockdown survey: Tell us what you think about the First Minister’s plan

Nicola Sturgeon last week published a new five-tier framework which will be used to decide local lockdown restrictions through the winter.

The First Minister will now seek the approval of MSPs this week before the Scottish Government decides which levels should be applied to individual council areas.

It could mean lockdown rules will vary from one town to another once they take effect from next month.

Opposition parties have warned the system could cause confusion if variations are not spelled out clearly in each area.

The five levels - numbered zero to four - set restrictions for every part of Scotland's life from education to work, transport, leisure and socialising.

The lowest level is the nearest to normality while level four is just short of the full lockdown imposed back in March.

Now we want to hear from Record readers on what they think of the new framework.
