Nicola Sturgeon has been confronted outside a polling station in Glasgow by a candidate who is standing in her seat.
Jayda Fransen, who is standing as an independent in Glasgow Southside, approached the First Minister as she left a station earlier today.
Footage of the incident was shared online and shows the former deputy leader of the Britain First movement shouting at the SNP leader as she speaks to party volunteers.
The red-headed Fransen shouts: "Nicola, how are you?"
Sturgeon replies: "Hi, I'm sorry."
Fransen asks: "What you sorry for?"
"Because you're a fascist and a racist," Sturgeon says.
Fransen shouts over Sturgeon and says: "Mass immigration, Marxism."
As Sturgeon begins to walk away the bigot follows her down the street which prompts the FM to confront her.
Sturgeon says: "You don't know anything about this constituency."
Fransen butts in and says: "You're a fraud!"
The FM replies: "We'll see the locals view later on. You're a racist. You're a fascist, a racist and the Southside of Glasgow will reject you."
As Sturgeon walks further up the street Fransen follows her before being ushered back when someone says: "Jayda, don't go too far up there."
The 34-year-old claims she is a “Christian fundamentalist” and “extremist in every sense of the word”.
She has said Islam and the Koran should be banned in Britain and anti-monarchists should be hanged for treason.
