Nicola Sturgeon clashes with GMB host Piers Morgan after she laughs at his outburst

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon clashed with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain today after she 'laughed' at one of his outbursts.

Viewers were left cringing when the SNP leader got into a shouting match with the 54-year-old host when they were speaking about Brexit during the interview via video link this morning.

Piers accused the Scottish leader of "throwing her toys out of the pram" over Brexit, and said that if her party won the Scottish independence votes and nothing had happened still she would be "spewing like a volcano".

The controversial host then lost his temper when Sturgeon began to laugh at his claims.

He said: "The absolute truth of this is that parliament, for three years, has systematically done everything in its power to prevent the will of the people and the way they voted in the majority how they voted in the referendum.

"And I say that as someone who voted remain and still would vote remain tomorrow-"

Sturgeon gave a huff of laughter.

Piers raged: "You may laugh but 17.4million people, I believe, have every right to feel betrayed by parliament!"

Sturgeon suggested that no one voting for Brexit contemplated being "dragged out" of the single market and customs union.

Piers exploded: "That's complete nonsense!

Sturgeon added: "I don’t want to see my country, I don’t want to see the UK crashing out of the EU without a deal."

"It’s ‘crazy’ if Britain plans to leave the European Union without a deal."
