Nicola Sturgeon branded "Hitler" in vile anti-coronavirus graffiti sprayed outside Ayr Racecourse

Ignorant anti-coronavirus graffiti comparing Nicola Sturgeon to "Hitler" appeared in Ayr today.

The vile message, which also claimed Covid is a "hoax", was sprayed on to a wall outside Ayr Racecourse on the town's Whitletts Road.

Scrawled writing compared Scotland's First Minister to the evil dictator and included a swastika - the symbol of the Nazi party.

The message read: "Nicola Sturgeon = Hitler".

Also emblazoned on the wall were the words "COVID is a hoax."

It's understood both messages have now been removed.

It comes with South Ayrshire on a continued lockdown with the region in Tier 4 of the Scottish Government's coronavirus restrictions.
