There have been no new deaths from coronavirus in Scotland registered in the last 24 hours.
A total of 16 new cases have been recorded overnight, taking the total number of positive tests of the virus to 18,500.
The figures, released this afternoon from the Scottish Government, come after new cases spiked three days in a row, with 21 new cases on Saturday, 23 on Sunday and 22 on Monday.
Hospital deaths from the killer bug remain at 2,491 and 287 are currently receiving treatment in hospital wards.
Two people are in intensive care units with either confirmed or suspected coronavirus.

Today's latest update comes as another coronavirus case was linked to a virus-hit call centre in Motherwell.
A total of 20 virus cases have now been linked to Sitel call centre in Bellshill 15 staff members and five people with connections to the facility.
One extra case was confirmed yesterday.
