The First Minister is expected to announce the next stage in relaxing the restrictions today.

She took Scotland into phase two last week but delayed expected rules allowing beer gardens to open.

Some measures have also come into force across Scotland with face coverings becoming mandatory on public transport.

Places of worship will be able to reopen for private prayer but hygiene measures will be in place.

Dentists will also be able to offer appointments to patients in need of urgent care.

Scots enjoyed their first weekend of phase two after further easing of restrictions were announced on Thursday.

Rules on sticking within five miles from your area will remain in place, apart from visiting some relatives.

But in a major change, people "shielding" at home can now exercise outside, even playing golf and meeting another household from today.

Nicola Sturgeon has called on all Scots to learn the latest lockdown rules as the country enters phase two of easing restrictions.

The First Minister accepted they may appear complex to some - but said it was a collective responsibility to understand them.

A new public information called FACTS  - with each letter a reminder of the key measures Scots must comply with - has been unveiled.

F: Face coverings must be worn in crowded places such as shops, and always when using public transport

A: Avoid crowded places wherever possible

C: Clean your hands and hard surfaces in your house regularly

T: Two-metre social distancing is required whenever you are outside meeting others or in shops

S: Self-isolate at home if you develop the symptoms of Covid-19.
