Nicola Peltz claims Victoria Beckham ghosted her - then said she couldn't make wedding dress

Nicola Peltz Beckham has slammed claims that she refused to wear a Victoria Beckham wedding dress, instead claiming the fashion designer ghosted her.

The Bates Motel actress, who tied the knot with Victoria and David Beckham 's eldest son Brooklyn in April this year, insisted the dress plans fell apart after 'days of silence'. This comes after reports surfaced that the feud between the two has been brewing since before Brooklyn and Nicola's wedding, after her mum Claudia Heffner Peltz is said to have taken charge.

The couple tied the knot at the Peltz family estate in Florida in a massive £4million ceremony but Victoria reportedly had wanted something closer to their Cotswolds home. Responding to the reported feud, Nicola has said that it "hurts [her] feelings" and insists that David and Victoria Beckham are "great in-laws", reports the Mirror.

However, while speaking to Grazia USA, she appeared to hint that there may have been some tension surrounding the wedding dress debacle.

“Well, I was planning on wearing Victoria’s wedding dress," she explained. "I was truly so excited to be able to wear a design that my future mother-in-law created. We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it.

The June issue of British Vogue is available on newsstands and via digital download from Tuesday 24th May (Luigi & Iango for British Vogues June issue.)

"So, I spoke to my mom and Leslie [Nicola’s close friend and stylist, stylist Leslie Fremar], and I was like, ‘Well, unfortunately, this can’t happen, so what’s the next step?’"

Further addressing the feud, Nicola said: "When I read things that say [things like] I was never planning on wearing a [Victoria Beckham] dress or things like that, it does hurt my feelings. I try not to let it, but it’s just not the truth. It’s just a bit of a bummer when you’re like, ‘Oh, people think that,’ but it’s just not true."

Despite speculation of family rows, Nicola has said that Brooklyn is keen to have children - but she wants to wait a little longer.

"Brooklyn tells me every day that he wants kids yesterday and that makes me fall way more in love with him," she said. “I'm so excited to be a mom one day. I just want to be as good a mom as my mom is and give them all my attention. So, I feel like I have to do a few more work things before I have kids. But we definitely want a very big family.”

Nicola addressing the rumours comes after reports said Victoria was overruled when trying to arrange wedding celebrations for the pair in the UK. MailOnline reported: “The Beckhams were interested in having weddings on both sides of the Atlantic, with a celebration at their house in the Cotswolds as they did for Brooklyn's 21st plus one in America.

"The Peltzes, as is traditional, wanted to have just one wedding at their immense house in Florida, complete with its own jetty and beach. Claudia Heffner Peltz, a titanium socialite and former top model, firmly took charge, and made a number of decisions, including that there would just be one wedding.”

Friends of the Beckhams have shared the concerns of David and Victoria that Brooklyn has become more distant from them, as the rumoured fallout with Nicola deepens.

"Vic says Nicola is not the charming girl she once knew," a source told HEAT Magazine. "Nicola wasn't really famous before she met Brooklyn. Sure, she was rich, but she was an actress with a few small movies to her name. Since she married Brooklyn, her profile has sky-rocketed."
