Nicola Peltz calls Brooklyn Beckham her 'sexy chef' as fans slam his 'basic' cooking

Nicola Peltz has heaped praise on her husband Brooklyn Beckham as she called him her "sexy chef", despite fans slamming his "very basic" cooking.

The 28-year-old actress took to her Instagram Story on Thursday to share a short video of Brooklyn, 23, preparing a vegan lasagne as he continues with his aspiration of becoming a chef.

Despite the video being ridiculed by Brooklyn's followers, with some saying his cooking had "zero finesse", Nicola seemed blown away by his skills.

Captioning the video, Nicola wrote: "Sexy chef."

She also took to the social media platform to share yet another of Brooklyn's business ventures as she posted a picture of his drinks brand WESAKE.

Brooklyn had earlier shared his cooking video on his own Instagram account, but it didn't go down well with some of his followers.

Some commented on the dish's 'lack of seasoning' and others asked what the 'brown stuff' was after he piled the sauce on top of his lasagne.

Victoria and David Beckham's eldest son filmed himself starting the meal from scratch, before sitting down to enjoy his creation.

"Very basic and literally zero finesse," one critic commented. Another questioned: "Seasoning?"

"It's not lasagne. Lasagne has white sauce, proper seasoning, more layers. This is just pasta," a third said.

Not everyone found something to criticise, with one of Brooklyn's followers writing: "You should have your own cooking show or a cookbook or both."

Another added: "It is amazing how you are simply following your passion while keeping your day job as well."

Brooklyn, who once told a famous TikToker that we was a "chef for a living", has also hinted at one day opening up a restaurant of his own.

Detailing his long-term chef plans to Vogue last year, he said: "I would love to have my own restaurant at some point. I am thinking a real British Pub in LA.

"I haven’t found anything that really reminds me of my favourite pubs in London."

Brooklyn, who previously tried his hand at professional photography and modelling, also launched an online culinary course called Cookin' With Brooklyn in December 2021.
