Nicola Peltz Beckham shares desire to 'have a baby and get right back to work' - and readdresses Victoria Beckham 'feud'

Nicola Petlz Beckham has shared her hope of starting a family in the future, almost a year after marrying Brooklyn Beckham in a star-studded ceremony in Florida. The actress married Brooklyn, the eldest son of former England footballer David Beckham and Spice Girl and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, in a Palm Beach ceremony last April.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK in a new interview as they approached their first wedding anniversary, Nicola expressed her plans for the future, which also include continuing with her acting career, saying: "As an actor, you always have that dream role in mind or those dream people to work with.

"And I feel like I’m never going to stop. I have so many things I would love to do. I think when I do them I’ll feel settled. And then I want to have a baby and get right back to work."

Nicola, who is the daughter of US billionaire Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz, has previously starred in American psychological drama series Bates Motel, Transformers: Age Of Extinction and most recently Disney+ series Welcome To Chippendales.

Speaking to the magazine about whether she and 24-year-old Brooklyn would want to raise their future children in Los Angeles, Peltz Beckham said: "Honestly, we’ve talked about it so much. And I think that we would want to definitely have a house (in LA) just because so much of our work is (in LA).

"We did have a house in LA at one point, but we sold it because we were like, ‘Oh, we’re going to go to Florida for a while’. And then we’re like, 'No, just kidding, we have to be in LA for work.' It was so silly of us. And now we’re saving up money to get our dream house."

The pair got engaged in June 2020 and, after twice postponing their wedding due to Covid-19, got married at the home of Nicola's father in April 2022. And 28-year-old Nicola also revealed how she and Brooklyn maintain their relationship, saying: "We spend every night together.

"Sometimes my friends will come sleep over and we’ll all fall asleep on the couch, or they’ll stay in my bed and Brooklyn will go sleep in the other room. Even with work travel, we work around it."

Nicola also addressed claims of a 'feud' with her mother-in-law, which began after she and Brooklyn wed. Rumours began when Nicola didn't wear a Victoria Beckham-designed wedding dress for her big day. She opted for a Valentino number instead despite saying she wanted to wear one of the former Spice Girl's designs.

Both Nicola and Victoria, 49, have refuted reports of bad blood between the two, with the latter again speaking to Cosmopolitan about the reports. She said: "I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud. I don’t know. No one ever wants to write the nice things. It’s really weird, actually, whether it’s my life or someone else’s life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong."

Her comments come after she and Brooklyn jetted over from LA to join the rest of the Beckham clan at Paris Fashion Week were Victoria had her own show. After her second ever runway show at the annual event in the French capital, Victoria said: "My family and friends mean so much to me Thank you @BritishVogue and @VogueMagazine for being at #VBAW23. xx VB."

She added: "Couldn’t do it without you, I love you all so much x #harperseven @davidbeckham @cruzbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham. Kisses from Paris (we miss you @romeobeckham!)."
