Nicola McLean says Coleen Rooney was wrong to publicly accuse Rebekah Vardy while pregnant

Nicola McLean, a close friend of Rebekah Vardy, appeared on This Morning to weigh in on the row between her pal and Coleen Rooney.

Rebekah has been heavily criticised after Coleen Rooney spoke out on social media to accuse the WAG of leaking stories about her private life.

Speaking to Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, Nicola said that Coleen should have waited until Rebekah had given birth before posting the accusations.

She said: "She could have stopped it. She didn't need to do this.

Nicola added: “You are aware with her level of following, if you post this, this is what is going to happen.

“She knew that and she chose to put a pregnant woman under this much stress. Regardless, I can't see an argument against this.

Vanessa Feltz, also a guest on the show, asked Nicola if Coleen should have taken the pregnancy into consideration, saying: “If she had done it in a couple of months time, would you find it less awful?”

Nicola immediately responded saying: "Yes."

Vanessa added: “Right so you think she should have just waited for the birth.”
