Leeds boxer and Strictly star Nicola Adams has faced criticism after jetting off for a 'work trip' to the Maldives over New Year.
Nicola and her girlfriend Ella Baig flew out of Heathrow Airport to the Indian Ocean resort this week.
Chronicling their journey out of England - much of which is under tough coronavirus restrictions - Nicola said the trip was 'strictly business'.
On her Instagram Stories, Nicola showed the first class lounge and the couple's luxury seats on the plane.
After they arrived, Ella filmed a tour of their stunning water villa and shared it on Instagram.
One follower wrote: "You look very busy with work."
Ella posted on Saturday that she had been shooting some new content for her Only Fans account.
People living in both Tier 3 and Tier 4 areas should not travel outside of their area or stay overnight anywhere outside their home unless it is for limited reason, including work.
Nicola and Ella are among a number of celebrities who have seen in the New Year abroad on business trips.
One fan tweeted: "Nicola Adams off to the Maldives, anybody know what business trip that is it seems to me celebrities can do what they want but if you ain't one of those stay at home do what your told."

However, one of Nicola's fans wrote: "Ignore the haters Nicola. Enjoy your time in the Maldives."
