Nicola Adams has excited Strictly Come Dancing fans with a video on Instagram about her return to the show.
The Leeds Olympic boxer was forced to quit the show earlier this month after her professional partner Katya Jones tested positive for coronavirus while asymptomatic.
Nicola did not test positive for the virus but due to the show's strict rules this year, they both began self-isolating separately and were ruled out of the competition.
Now the duo, who made history by becoming the first same-sex pairing on the programme, have shared a video announcing when they will be returning to the show with a non-competitive routine.
The video posted by Nicola is captioned: “Rehearsing our dance for the Strictly finals be like.”
Fans commenting under the post said: “Oh my god are you coming back!?!”
Another fan said: “I really hope you get asked back next year! It’s not fair what happened.”
One person said: “Yess!!! It's going to be FAB U LOUS.”
Speaking about leaving the programme on It Takes Two, Nicola previously said: “It was a little bit frustrating not being able to continue when I had just got back into the swing of things and I was enjoying the dance and everything.
“But the rules are in place to keep everybody safe so I’m doing my part.”
