Nicki Minaj has made it very clear she's Team Britney amid the singer's ongoing issues with ex-husband.
Super Bass singer Nicki, 39, praises Britney Spears' parenting skills and brands the pop icon's ex Kevin Federline "a clown", following the dad-of-six's recent social media posts and tell-all interviews regarding the mother of two of his children.
Earlier this month, former backup dancer Kevin, 44, shared footage of ex-wife Britney, 40, arguing with their sons on Instagram, telling the award-winning singer: "The lies have to stop."
The footage - filmed and shared without Britney's consent - comes after the global icon claimed her teenage sons Sean, 16, and Jayden, 15, had acted "hateful" towards her when they visited.
During during a live Q&A with fans on Tuesday, singer and rapper Nicki leapt to Britney's defence - just days after the star's lawyer revealed Kevin had created "various legal issues for himself" following his Instagram stunt.

"Do you understand what kind of a clown you have to be to be a whole, grown f****** man, and as soon as you see somebody happy and getting married and moving on and being free and feeling good in their own skin, to do the very thing that you know is going to attempt to break them down?" Nicki says during her passionate speech.
She continues to declare: "Using the media... Only cowards use the media against a famous person who they once loved, they procreated with, they’re being taken care of by, they once were being taken care of by, using the person’s fame as this constant 'gotcha' moment."

In the now-deleted Instagram post, Kevin wrote on Instagram on August 10: "I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through.
"As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos the boys took when they were 11 & 12. This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this. #NeverFearTruth".
In one video, Britney appeared to argue with one of her sons over their skincare, and another showed the singer expressing her shock that eldest Sean didn't wear shoes in an ice cream shop in Alaska -telling him she was confiscating his phone over it, which sparked a row between the pair.

A huge amount of women have since rushed to defend Britney - claiming she was only acting how any mother would - and Nicki added her name to the long list of Britney's supporters during her livestream on Tuesday.
"She loves her kids more than life itself," Nicki says during her passionate tribute to the mum-of-two. "You wanna take your little goofy ass to do some mother******* interview? How dare you. How dare you encourage this woman’s children to be a part of your nonsense."
She adds: "When they look back, they’re gonna say, 'Why, why, why did we do this?’ They’re kids. They don’t know how detrimental this is. But you know, c********* - leave her the f*** alone!"

Kevin and Britney - who is now happily married to actor Sam Asghari - were legally married from 2004 until 2007 and welcomed their two sons into the world together throughout their relationship.
Sean Preston and Jayden James - now teenagers - were both under two-years-old when their mum was placed under her conservatorship the year following her divorce from Kevin.
Former backup dancer Kevin believes the 13-year conservatorship that Britney was put under by her father Jamie Spears - which ended last year - "saved" her and "got things in order ".

Following his now-deleted Instagram post earlier this month, Britney's lawyer issued a lengthy and passionate statement in which he called his client's ex-husband video "cruel, bottom of the barrel stuff".
Mathew Rosengart described the Toxic singer as a "brilliantly talented, extremely hardworking icon" and adds that "the same, unfortunately, cannot be said about Mr. Federline", following the dad-of-six's recent tell-all interview and public social media post.
""Britney has faithfully supported her children and she loves them dearly. Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he has undermined his own children, whose privacy he should protect," he said within the passionate statement.
Britney's husband Sam also responded to Kevin's actions - praising his wife's parenting skills and saying he hopes the multi-award winning singer will discipline their "future children" in a similar manner should they "act up " in a comment on Instagram.
