With Nick Sirianni focused on how the Eagles perform during joint practices this week with the Jets, it’s possible that Jalen Hurts won’t see action again until the season opener.
During his Sunday evening press conference, Sirianni was noncommittal on whether Hurts would see action against the AFC foe on the road.
Hurts was hospitalized with stomach pain just moments before Philadelphia kicked off against the Patriots on Thursday. The quarterback was evaluated and diagnosed with a non-COVID-19 related stomach virus.
Sirianni gave Hurts a few days off and the expectation is that Joe Flacco and Nick Mullens will split the halves against the Jets.
