Alabama football head coach Nick Saban and Crimson Tide mascot Big Al starred in a new coronavirus public service announcement highlighting the importance of wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
The Alabama Football Twitter account shared the video on Thursday. In the PSA, a typically stern Saban discovers that Big Al isn’t wearing a protective mask, and after stiff-arming an attempt at a hug from the giant elephant, Saban delivers a teaching moment about health guidelines. Even cuddly mascots aren’t safe from Saban’s wrath.
