Nick Knowles sends plea to ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers

Nick Knowles has issued a plea to fans following the new series of I'm A Celebrity starting.

Boy George, Chris Moyles, Mike Tindall MBE, Sue Cleaver, Charlene White, Owen Warner, Jill Scott MBE, Babatúndé Aléshé, Scarlette Douglas, Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh are all appearing in this year's show.

But there's one contestant Nick is fully behind - Mike Tindall. The BBC DIY SOS star, who took part in the 18 series of I'm A Celebrity, has asked his followers to support the former rugby player.

"He is a patron with me of a veterans charity & helps many others He’s a top bloke & a really down to earth type I can only say this as he’s away & can’t read it."

One of Nick's fans, Jen replied: "I'm just waiting to see if he does the "I've my eyes on you" to anyone in the jungle like he did to Prince Louis." Louise said: "He has my support, as being an ex Gloucester player."

Denny said: "Don't know Mike personally but from what I've seen/heard of him over the years has led me to believe he's a very genuine, down to earth, all round great guy. #MikeTindallToWin."

Dave said: "Well he’s a decent bloke but I will have to cheer for him after cheering for Jill Scott."
