DIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles has urged his fans to help track down the attackers of a 17-year-old boy who had previously worked with the star.
The teenage victim was hospitalised after being assaulted on Broad Quay in Bristol and knocked unconscious.
Nick, 59, had since taken to social media to ask any witnesses of the attack to come forward.
The unnamed victim had previously helped the TV presenter with his DIY SOS build in Southmead before the attack.
The victim was with a friend, and a group of females were also present when he was approached by a group of males, one of whom threw a punch or a bottle at the victim’s head, which caused a laceration to his eyebrow and knocked him unconscious.

Sharing a post tweeted by Bristol Police, Nick wrote: "This young lad spent the Friday on our site in Bristol volunteering. It was an unprovoked attack."
He continued: "I think it’s important good people can walk about safely. If the people responsible aren’t found they might do it again."
"Please help if you can," the star concluded his plea.
The original tweet from the police read: "Can you help? A 17-year-old was knocked unconscious in Broad Quay, Bristol at around 10.45pm on Saturday 23 Oct.

"The victim was approached by a group of males who threw a punch or a bottle at him."
The account then shared a link where people can obtain more information and read a description of the suspects.
In the appeal, the police described the suspects, writing: "Two of the males involved were wearing black hoodies with the hoods up and light coloured jeans. They were around 5ft 7 ins tall and in their late teens."
Earlier this month, Nick put a call out for help in the Bristol area, after a computer glitch left him falling behind with an ongoing build.
The BBC star pleaded online for decorators, tree surgeons and carpenters to get in touch and help him out of a tough spot.
A computer glitch meant many people who initially asked to join in weren't contacted after the initial notification.
The DIY SOS team were in Bristol to rebuild Southmead Adventure Playground, locally known as The Ranch, after it fell into disrepair.

The badly-damaged basketball and football pitch will also set be renovated by the BBC team.
Tweeting on Sunday, Nick begged: "We are desperate for decorators, tree surgeons and carpenters still for our Bristol DIY SOS.
"There seems to have been a computer glitch - if you asked to join in and didn’t get contacted after initial notification please come help us.
"We need you. Please consider giving us a day."
Crews and volunteers worked on the project from Tuesday, October 19 and the keys to the new facility were handed over on Thursday, October 28.
