Nick Knowles’ fiancée Katie Dadzie looked like she was having an absolute blast as she celebrated her hen do ahead of tying the knot with the DIY SOS star. The 34-year-old businesswoman, who got engaged to Nick in New Orleans two years ago, marked her “last fling before the ring” with a lively party at London’s Karma Sanctum Hotel—complete with paper masks of Nick’s face.
Katie, 28 years younger than Nick, shared a bunch of snaps from the night, showing her laughing with friends, dancing, and striking poses in a white strapless mini dress and pearl earrings. Her pals didn’t hold back on the fun, donning those cheeky Nick masks while pulling poses inspired by the classic “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” emojis. In another shot, Katie holds up a jelly ring, balancing it just above her actual engagement ring in front of a screen displaying loved-up photos of her and Nick, reported the Mirror.
Katie, a mum-of-two, runs a lingerie and sex toy brand, and also owns Boobbix—a business selling lactation products for breastfeeding mums. The couple’s paths crossed in 2021 at a playgroup attended by Nick’s youngest son and Katie’s children. It was Nick’s son Eddie who unintentionally played matchmaker after his dad enrolled him at the same group while filming abroad.
Katie’s hen party wasn’t the only thing making headlines—she recently opened up about how Nick helped her feel confident enough to model her lingerie range. Initially nervous about getting in front of the camera, she admitted she was “cacking her pants” before her first shoot.
“Nick said to me he thought that I should do it to represent the brand and the ethos that we have of being comfortable with yourself and loving the skin you’re in,” Katie said. Although she confessed to still struggling with self-image, Nick’s encouragement—and a push from one of her models—helped her find the confidence to step in front of the lens.
Meanwhile, Nick has had his challenges lately. After undergoing tough surgery just before Christmas, he’s been busy with physio and rehab. The Strictly Come Dancing star had to withdraw from a live show last October after injuring his knee in rehearsals. He was the third celeb to leave the show and later admitted he’d played down the injury before being voted out.
As the wedding approaches, it looks like both Katie and Nick are powering through in their own ways—with confidence, recovery, and a good dose of humour.
