Nick Knowles fans baffled as he shares career update after controversial move

Nick Knowles fans were in hysterics as he shared his latest career move.

The 60-year-old is renowned for his role as a presenter on DIY SOS. However, he found himself in hot water with the BBC in 2021 after he appeared as a builder in a Shreddies advert.

The advert violated BBC editorial guidelines which bans actors and artists from appearing in promotional work "in a way which mimics or replicates their on-air roles for the BBC." The controversy resulted in Nick missing an episode of DIY SOS for the first time in his career for the Children in Need special.

The dispute has since been resolved and Nick has returned to his role fronting the BBC home makeover show. However, he has also continued to appear in adverts for Shreddies and has taken to Instagram to reveal the latest campaign.

Nick is world's away from his builder persona in the latest advert as his head is photoshopped on a lion for the Shreddie For Anything campaign. He shared the latest advert today alongside the caption: "Eat Shreddies. Feel like a lion."

He shared another clip from the campaign yesterday, which prompted baffled fans to take to the comments in hysterics.
