Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra welcome Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner to India ahead of lavish wedding

Joe Jonas has touched down in India with fiancé Sophie Turner to kick off his duty as groomsman at his brother Nick’s upcoming nuptials.

Nick, 26, will tie the knot with Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra, 36, in a lavish weekend celebration which will reportedly feature a traditional Mehndi party, a Christian ceremony, and the vow exchange at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in front of a star-studded guest list.

Chopra confirmed Turner and her soon-to-be brother-in-law Joe had arrived by posting a group photo on Instagram.

She captioned the shot: “Friends.. family...”

Joe, 29, also informed fans of his arrival, posting a picture of himself sipping on a coconut water in Juhu, Mumbai.

Nick and Chopra are expected to kick off their epic wedding on Friday with the celebrations believed to continue throughout the weekend.

Chopra will be joined by bridesmaids Anjula Acharia and Mubina Rattonsey, while Nick will be flanked by his brothers Joe, Kevin and Frankie as well as actor Jonathan Tucker and Chopra’s brother Siddharth.

Nick and Chopra were first rumoured to be dating in May 2017 when they attended the Met Gala together. Chopra refused to comment on the speculation and swerved Jimmy Kimmel’s questions at the time, telling the presenter: “We were both wearing Ralph Lauren, and we decided to go together, and it was fun.”

They confirmed their relationship in July this year when Nick closed down a Tiffany store to pick out a ring for his proposal.

Chopra recently held her bridal shower at the same New York store.
